I've been using bar soap pretty much my whole life. It was cheap, convienent and got the job done. During the winter however I was noticing patchs of dry skin and decided to try bodywash instead.
After using Aveeno for about a month now I must say that I like the results much better than bar soap. The feeling of residue was a little off putting at first, but I've noticed an improvement the dry skin problems I was having.
Soap or Bodywash, which do you like better and why?

Hey there Good Looking :)) I have been away this week, so I am playing catch up here. There are some mornings that I just grab and wash with what ever my hand falls on first because I am in such a hurry. Our shower sports a variety of products as my husband prefers bar soaps, my 13 year old is in love with Axe shower gel ( he thinks its cool) and like you I battle dry skin continuously. On days I can take my time in shower I prefer a moisturizing body wash. Aveeno is great... but I like gels that leave me smelling like a gardenia or country magnolia. LMAO Bed and bath offer a wide range of such products. Not only do they smell good, but they are easily applied to a puff or exfoliating buff. So there ya have it.. you now know SOME of my showering habits.

As for me, my skin loves dove soap because it makes my skin softer and i use less lotion with it. I use to try liquid soaps too but it does not work for me. Though it's convenient i would still prefer using dove. c",)
