I feel that there are definitely people lost out there in some sort of "Bermuda Triangle" type thing. I think that Lost is based on these types of things, and the lengths that people go through to try and keep them hidden. Who knows, though. Anything could happen, and anything could be out there!!! Lost is such a great show because it's the question of the unknown.

I have thought about that when i watched Lost the first time. I even said so that is where some missing person reported to have crossed the bermuda triangle.
But maybe not even close. they could have just drowned into the sea... and never found anything because they were sucked up in the former world atlantis.

I think it intrigues many of us. It is rather bizarre and still No specific findings, just theories......

I have been saying that from the beginning that this was something like the Bermuda triangle. Although they are no where near it because the triangle is on the other side of the USA. But there is something simular where they are for sure.

It's the simularity... I think that's what the writers must have based Lost on...

Could be one of the possibility. They might have been transported to a different dimension parallel to us. I think the Lost plot is based on the theories of the Bermuda Triangle. Some believed the Bermuda Triangle is the Devil's Portal to the Earth. Scientists like their own scientific explanations, like the ones you mentioned, magnetic fields and stuff. Other people even believed that the Bermuda Triangle is the location of the Lost City of Atlantis which sank under the sea 125000 years ago. Dont know for sure, the mystery continues.
