Last night's twist on Big Brother 9 -- lame or what?

Okay, so of course the siren sounded when the evicted houseguests tried to exit the house. How obvious was that? And it was no big surprise that they were going to break up the couples-- otherwise the show would only have a few more weeks to go! I think they could have been a little more creative with the twist. And even though I disliked Allison, it was kind of mean what happenened to her. They got her hopes up(that she would be staying) and then BOOM- she gets evicted without Ryan. They should have given both evicted houseguests a chance to stay, maybe via a competition or something. Or they should have had the live vote right away instead of breaking for commercial, so the houseguests didn't have time to converse about it. Either way, Allison probably would have been gone, but I did feel bad for her when the vote was 8 to 0 to evict her. She was mad, too, did you see how she just stormed out? I guess it's good that Ryan now has a chance to play the game on his own, but he's not a very smart player- he and Jen had such an advantage at the beginning if they had only kept their mouths shut. I do like the fact that someone will be coming back into the house. Do you plan to vote? I'd like to see Parker walk back in the door- he can cause lots of trouble again, LOL

I liked the twist, even though it was obvious to me too about what it was going to be. But, I disagree with you about Allison. I am glad she was gone. That girl thought she was the bees knees and so much smarter than everyone else and she held her "Higher education" over everyone's heads like she was the Queen of the Earth or something. I hated the snooty way she would talk to people. So, to see her go from low, to high back to low was delicious! And, Big Brother did give Ryan and Allison an equal chance to be the one to stay. Maybe it wasn't a competition but, if she wasn't such a lousy person, it would have been a harder decision for the house guests. They didn't have to vote Allison out. They chose to which meant that both she and Ryan had an equal chance of staying as they did of going. I don't know if I am going to vote. I want Jacob back in because I think it would be fun to watch him torture Sharon and it would be fun to watch him try to play catch up with the rest of the house guests as he hasn't had as much of a chance as the others to get to know them.

Oh believe me, cortjo, I'm very glad Allison is gone. She annoyed me! I just think it was mean how they did it. And kinda dumb- because it was obvious that she'd be the one to go, no one could stand her. But she does make for better television than Ryan, who's kind of boring in my opinion. I'm just surprised even her girl Sheila didn't give her a courtesy vote. I mean I know they had their problems but still. I agree with you abvout Jacob- might be interesting to see him back. I may just go vote for him.

I think that it would have been better if they would have had the twist right afte the pov. They should have let Matt and Natalie used the pov and then they should have pulled the twist and seperated Ryan and Allison. I felt bad for Allison too. I knew that everyone would vote off Allison because she really had a bad gameplan. I hope that Parker comes back in too. He got the bad end of the deal being paired with stupid Jen. Also,it was Jen who couldn't keep the secret about her and Ryan. She easily could have convinced parker not to put Ryan and Allison up the first vote.

Yes you're right, sunshine4. It was blabbermouth Jen who spilled the beans about her and Ryan. They still should have kept the secret from Allison though, because she's the one who got all crazy once she found out and kept threatening to expose the secret. I am glad Ryan is getting another chance, although if Jen happens to be the one who walks back into the house he'll be targeted again since everyone knows they're a real life couple.

Thanks for reminding me to vote, I would like to see Parker come back too. He was a nice guy and missed his chance because of Jen. I am glad that Ryan got to stay, I like him too and Allison being Allison was the reason they were getting booted off the show. I am glad they get to play for themselves now. Jen and Ryan did make some mistakes right away. Jen and her big mouth, thats what got her booted off. Now Big Brother is going to get good. I felt sorry for Allison too, but she did it herself.

I agree about the twist thing. Its not like anyone who has ever watched in the past could not tell. Of course they would get split up or the show would be over too soon. They could have done it a little different though. Maybe they are running out of ideas. It is already #9 now. Also I didn't relly feel bad for Allison cuz she knew from the beginning that she was lying. Why would you paint a target on yourself like that? I am just glad that Ryan, dumb as he is, has a chance to play the game without her in the way. As far as who comes back I hope that it is not Parker I didn't really like his attitude the first time he was on. Actually did a dance when they got voted out. I would like to see Sharons ex come back to make her life a little more interesting. I figure she got a 2nd chance so let him torture her some more. Maybe even Alex cuz he got unfair deal with Amanda and her crap.

The twist no doubt was as obvious as they come, but I do love the idea that we can vote someone back in the house. Have any of you already voted? Who do you think will be on the block next? If Ryan is smart, which he isn't, I'd target either James and Chelsia or Sharon and Josh. I love how Allison got way too excited when the alarm sounded. She knew for a fact that she would be staying, then BAM!! Julie hit her with a low blow and told her that the HG's would be voting to get them out, and her facial expression changed completely. Classic! I do look forward to see who comes walking back in that door. I'll have my popcorn ready, hopefully the party coming back will also be America's Player...

Big Brother has been one of my favorite shows for the past few years, and this time around I can't seem to figure out what days the show is on so I always miss it! I have missed all but 2 episodes! :( I should learn what time it's on so I can see how things are happening. That all being said -I think that does sound kind of ridiculous how they did it.
