Norton anti-virus is great for servers and not for desktop users.
i say there is no worst anti-virus. each anti-virus has its purpose. you just got to know what anti-virus you need to get rid of your virus that lingers on you PC.
anyway im not worried so much about virus cause im using LINUX.^_^

I dont know about others but for me Norton is the worst.I used to think it to be the best but later it started troubling me.It was not detecting the infections proparly. It was vanising from the taskbar. It even troubled me when i wanted to uninstall it.Firstly it was not getting uninstalled and closed my ports which give you internet connection.Later i had to leave it half installed on my PC till i completely formatted my computer.

I would say norton, as it ate my computer away, and when we phoned the computer company, and they told us not to use it, bacause it works at its job, but it also lets loads of viruses in and eats your computer files! The best is AVG =]

Well, you haven't seen those antivirus programs that they make for a specific type of virus/trojan/worm only. Those are next to useless, since by the time you know which virus/trojan/worm infected your system, you would have figured out how to get rid of them...
