will ganguly make a come back?

in the past he had showed what he can do for come back in the team and he made a great comeback by any player and i think he will do same again to be in the odi squad

the problem is..if u take Ganguly,then why not Dravid and Laxman.....So 4 seniors,yuvi,dhoni.......where will the young guys play????and once when all the 4 retire at the same time(since they r of same age),then there will be an empty which will be hard to fill up.So it's better to leave them out.The team has one senior-most man in Sachin......u can consider Dhoni as experienced enough...Yuvi is there for almost 8 years.So 3 experienced are already there.Let the rest 3 positions go to the youngsters like Rohit,Gambhir,Raina,Tiwary.

well although this is a 3 month old post but i am happy to say that yes he made a come back and time and again he showed what he is worth. he made 2 big and very valuable score in t20 also and both were match wininng and that shows that he is still the second best player in the indian team just after Sachin (the God).

As a few others said, Ganguly has already made his comeback and played very well in the test series in Australia , but it's the one day side where the selectors are focusing on young legs who have proven themselves either in the domestic circuit or other international matches like the under 19 world cup.I am sure Sourav would continue to play in the test squad.As to, whether he will be playing in the one dayers , it will largely depend on the new faces.If they continue to deliver the goods, then the likes of Dravid,Laxman and Ganguly might have to bid their time.Otherwise,the selectors might bring them back to mix and match experience with energy.I feel their performance in the IPL will also be keenly watched by the selectors.

I am not sure what you are asking. Let me tell you Gangually is still inthe test team and even againest South africe in the next series. Yes he was droped from the one day team recently because of poor fielding. But after the favolous performance of sachin in australlia tour, the management may be overlook the senior vs youngstar composition. and in the meantime if gangually performs better, we may see him again in the one day team as well.

Well, i think Ganguly will surely come back in this SouthAfrica series,,, although we all know how much talented he is, and what damage he can do with other teams...

Hi Hiren I think the question you have put isnot proper. You are aware that ganguly is still in test team. Only for ODIs he has been kept aside. It is no doubt in on day cricket spirit, zeal,stamina, speed are required to compete. In our youg team after a long time we got it. Hence under the above circumstances I think ganguly himself agree with the point.No doubt he is the excellent captain of Indiawho caputred lots of glorious moments in BCCI's cap pkc3000

Ganguly is yet in the test team.only for the odi series in Australia he was out of the squad.since he was in great form in Australia his selection to the test team for the ensuing India South Africa test series can not be ruled out.let us wait and see what the Selection Committee is doing.thank you.

Ganguly come back is like to be purely incidental and for the incidence to happen, luck is needed as priority else youngesters are well placed and setting records and pathway for the worldcup

I am sure Ganguly will make a comeback. He has made two comebacks in the Indian team and I am sure he will bounce back. He will retire from cricket with respect. People are geting carrid away by the success in Austrilia but they are fogetting that it was old horse Sachin who won them all the three matches that India won agaist Austrailia. He was the highest scorer in all those matches.
