for almost 8 years I had a very best friend and she loves to have drama in her life all the time and be center of attention, well I fought tooth and nail with her about it and she would get mad and go home call her family up and tell them what happened between her and I, so I had to fight the family also and after awhile things would calm down because she got the attention she wanted, then turn right around and do something different, she always said it was me causing the problems and omg I don't hurt people like she does (did) so anyways I put up with it 7 yrs and 9 months, We are no longer friends because she sent me an email and was calling my husband really nasty names and me. in the subject line of her email it said NOT MY CHOICE, well you make your own choices everyday so I asked her why she said that never would say but anyways I snapped and said enough was enough you don't do things like that to your best friend or matter of fact anyone sorry its so long so was I right or wrong for ending our friendship?

A friendship should not feel like hardwork and just reading that was hardwork. I think you have definately done the right thing by ending that friendship and good luck to you cos I do not think she will disappear so easily.

I would not say end a friendship but give her some space as someday she may snap out of her state of mind and realize that she was wrong. You don't have to be a doormat for anyone as there is no excuse for bad manners.
She not only insulted you and your husband but carried this to her family and who knows else she has bad mouthed you too? I have had people come in and out of my life and if you just treat them as you would have them treat you then you will be ok...but no one is perfect and some people need a second chance even if they were acting child like..good luck..you will be better off taking the higher ground and just letting this person out of your life...it happens ..good luck
