I also have a masters degree and I'm not exactly earning an income based on that degree. Right now, I'm doing some freelance writing and I am caregiving. But one thing about degrees, they don't say who a person is on the inside.
Titles and degrees have become far less important to me in my later half of life, than they were in my earlier decades. I'd sooner be a good neighbor, sister, and friend, than have even one more degree.

I consider my degrees to have been door openers, from there I tried to prove myself worthy of the opportunities.

I only had secondary school education and it was O levels and CSE's when I was at school, I hated the education system and couldn't wait to leave, I only had one 0 Level at 16. However I went back to college at 32 and I got an NVQ3 which is equalivent to an A level, I was proud of getting that as I am not that scholarly I did my best and at least I can put it on my CV for future employ.
