Have you ever had meningitis?

A few months ago I woke up with a pounding headache. Wound up in the hospital two hours later and stayed for four days:) I was on antibiotics for a total of 21 days. I'm still dealing with the after-effects. Have you ever had meningitis? Share your experience.
