Do you think writes should be able to remake their movies just to earn more?

Do you guys think that it is right for a write/movie producer to be able to just go out and remake certain movies when there was nothing wrong with the original? I understand if the movie was made back in the 60s 70s and maybe even the 80s. But a lot of these people only do it so they can make more money. Do you agree with me or not? I want some acutal views on this people lol.

I don't think it's really a matter of right or wrong. Wanting to make money is as valid a reason as any other. If the remake is bad, well, the audience will figure it out and the writers/producers might not make as much. The way I see it, if a remake turns out to be good or bad, it'll be that way no matter what the original plan was for making it.
