Are you afraid of lightning?

The very sight of a lightning strike sparkles fear in the most courageous of men; who can withstand the awe of this terrible weapon of the Gods? Are you afraid of lightning? I am not ashamed to say I am. Yet I will not hide the fact that each time I see a lightning strike, I am overwhelmed by nature's sheer might and beauty, and my heart is filled with a joy possessing me with its thunderous boom; a celestial music of electric brilliance! I invite you to share your thoughts and feelings about lightning. Do you see it often where you live? Do you like to watch it? Or are you afraid of lightning?

I'm really not afraid of it, I am drawn to its beauty and power. I love bad storms and thunderstorms and could stand at the window for hours watching lightning strike. It fascinates me.

I am never afraid of lightening as i truly believe it is one of the most beautiful creations of nature. I could even say i am attracted to thunderstorms, as they somehow give me this warm feeling and that's probably one of the main reasons, that unlike most people, i love rain and everything connected to it.

I love watching it but I wouldn't want to be outside in it. My mom is absolutely terrified when she hears it or sees it. Sometimes my dad and i will sit near the window and watch it while my mom yells at us to close the curtain..haha. She doesn't like lightning at all. It can get pretty loud at times!

I am not scared of it at all, but I try to be respectful of it. I have had jobs in the past that required me to work outdoors, even in bad whether sometimes, so you kind of learn to deal with it..I will open the curtains at night when it is storming here and just watch it...it doesn't bother me at all..I think it is an awesome display of God's power...

I forgot to add...the thunder is what usually bothers me the most because I don't like to be around loud noises...

I am! Im scared of lightning since I was a kid. It makes me feel that they'd hit anytime, especially if Im on road. Here in my place, we get thunderstorms always, well maybe because it'll be spring soon. I never watched it in anyway. But you know I appreciate it when I get to see lovely pictures of it online, they're just so majestic and powerful to look at.

in some how i like lightning, it began when i was very young. maybe because it's very short and the sharp is different each time.

Yes! Especially when you are all along during night times. It will be really scary and when the wind blows, there will be weird sounds~ I've been staying here at oregon for few months and haven't really see any here yet. Usually at what seasons does it appears? So that I can make a self confidence preparation.. haha..
