Baby is born!

For those of you ho where wondering where I was for the past 2 weeks, it's because finaly my son is born. I was only 36 weeks pregnant I had to have a emergency c-section. February 26, I went to the hospital for a formal NST, only to check my baby heart. I was feeling wel and everything, but my blood pressure was very high. So they did some blood test and something was wrong. I can't really explain what I had in english, but it was dangerous for me. They decide to keep me and that I had to have a c-section. Since it was an emergency they had to put me to sleep (sorry to exaplin like that lol).
I couldnt see my baby for 12h. I had to stay in bed for 2 long days and wasnt able to start breast feeding. After 5 days was able to finaly go home.
The baby was feeling better way before me lol. But now everytging is alright and I have a very healthy baby. The only thing that I really find hard, is that I wasnt there for my baby at the beginning and I was into sleep when he was born. I feel like a miss a part of something important.

congrats, i'm glad you two made it out safe and sound. It's so awesome to have a child, I had my son 2 months ago, it's a challenge and a blessing all at the same time :).

Though it is an emergency, thank and pray God for you are fortunate to have a healthy baby and along life together. Do take care of the little one more than anything as it had entered this world almost three months before and we all are here for your support at all times.

congratulations to the new mother! i can't fully understand the feeling but at least i know its really a great joy to have a baby. i think i would have been sad too if i didn't see my newborn baby on his first two days. but hey, at least you regain your energy and now you are well and happily taking care of your son. ^__^ good luck to your first stage of motherhood and i hope your baby will grow healthy and strong and won't give you problems! LOL

He's already growing so fast:)
They still have to weight him almost every week, but he's gaining wieght fast:) He's so small right now:P
I really enjoy being a mother:)

Congragulations on the healthy baby boy. Having a baby is a most precious gift of God and you being alright now is great. Having to have a C-section was for your health and the health of the baby so I wouldn't think about that anymore. You are there for your baby and the bonding takes place how ever which way your baby was born. The event is still a blessed event. God always has His hand on us. Enjoy your baby as you are doing and don't think about the way your child came into the world. But that he is healthy.

He,s really healthy and he's growing so fast. Of course he,s still smaller then a baby of 1month, but I enjoy having a small baby like that lol

What are 12 hours in the space of a lifetime? I'm sure he slept through and didn't realise you were missing. Now you are both recovered and can spend the rest of your lives together. Good luck to our new mom on myLot!

The 12h was only hard because I just wasnt able to realise that my son was born :)
But you are right, we have the rest of our life to be together :)

My deepest congratulations on your son's birth. Is this your first one, or do you have other children? What did you name him? How big was her when he was born? How much did he weight? Now that you have had him at home for a couple weeks, how is it going? Do you find you still have time to post in mylot? Or is he keeping you so busy? lol. I am very happy for you. I remember when I had my kids, a long time ago, they are now 33 and 25. The years go by so fast, take every day as special because before you know it they will be grown up.
