So Let me just tell you about our recent weather!
I have always know that Texas can have some pretty weather, But in all my years It has never been like this.
So Remember when I was so excited about snow?
Well The day before that (Sunday) The recorded high was 80 degrees, Then it snowed Monday night. After that it began to heat up. Well yesterday (Thursday) It was about 65 degrees outside. Today started out cold. It began raining, then sleeting, and Now we have about 3 1/2 inches of snow on the ground!!!!!
I still love the snow, but can you believe this weather?!
80 degrees to snow, to 65 degrees, back to snow, all in ONE week!!!!!

Florida has less season changes. Normally we only get two seasons, Summer and Winter (summer is much longer)
Florida tends to stay around the same temp all year long.
I measured the snow in our back yard and as of now we got 6 inches of snow!
The news said we could have up to 9 inches by the morning!

We had 65 degree weather Mon., an ice storm on Tues. and Wed., 40 degrees today and another winter storm tomorrow. It is not sure what it wants to do. I can't imagine the 80 degree weather and snow the next day, ours was bad enough.

Sounds like you are having some strange weather where you are, it also sounds pretty warm. But to have it go from warm to snow is going to make people ill, thats the only trouble when it changes so quick like that. You will all be coming down with colds at this rate!

Oohh! And I thought we are the only ones in Manila whose having weird weather changes.
It's supposed to be summer here where it's the time to heat the beaches and just plain chillaxing but there are days when it rains in the afternoons which is unusual since March in the Philippines is supposed to be sunny and hot.
Apart from that, we still experience a breezy cold air at night which only happens during the Christmas Season.
I guess, it's the Global Warming. Climate is now unpredictable and I was planning for our Boracay trip after the Holy Week....sigh!

When I was growing up here in Illinois, it seemed like we always had four beautiful seasons, now we have two (too hot and too cold). This winter has just been awful with so much snow and really cold weather. We never got a January thaw or even February and now it's March and our high temperature today was 22.
My mom and I discuss this all the time, because she is 77 and has lived here all her life. As she looks back, when we have had lots of bombings during war time, it seems to affect the weather strangely. Also there are a couple of "weather machines" out there and she is sure that someone is manipulating our weather. Don't know if that has any truth to it, but it makes me think of the cartoon Tom Terrific where the villain always used his "weather machine" to do his evil deeds.
My hubby and I are trying to figure out a good place to move where the weather is a little easier on older folks, but this year the weather has been so weird all over, it's hard to pick out a place that won't have snow one day, a tornado the next and a hurricane to round it out. I can remember my seventh grade science teacher telling us that we would see many weather and what he called temperature belt changes in our lifetime. Well I guess he was pretty wise, because that seems to be what is happening.
