all of us seem so obsessed about our weights and stats. do our weighing scales actually decide how beautiful we are? are there men who find bigger women more attractive in comparispon to the reedy types?

Of course they are!
I mean, not every single human being is physically or mentally beautiful, but many big men and women are just as, if not more, beautiful as those of other physical size and shape.
Society is obsessed with image, and it's only detrimental to true beauty and friendship, I think.
=D
Great discussion!

Galena is 100% right. She couldn't have said it better in a page long post! lol.
There are a lot of beautiful larger women out there...Queen Latifa in my opinion is gorgeous...that girl that was on this season of American Idol was gorgeous...all the professional plus sized models are all great looking! hehe.
So yes, of course big women can be beautiful!

"Beauty is in the eyes of a beholder". Yes my friend, some people find big women beautiful. It depends on the person definition of what beauty is. Because of the skinny women we see in the magazines and television or movies, we tend to associate beauty with a being thin. Our bodies differ in built. It depends on our genes. Some people are really born with nice figures, others are not. It is not bad, if we try to lose some weight or be concerned about body statistics. If it will make you feel more confident and pretty, then why not. Just don't overdo it. Some people are obsessed with getting so skinny that their health already suffers. I think all of us should keep a healthy lifestyle for the good of our body and to avoid getting too fat. Above all, physical beauty is just superficial, what is more important is inner you. If you are a good person, your personality will exhude and that's a beauty that will not fade regardless of age.
