Should i have a new cell phone ?

I have a cell phone ,but it doesn't work well now.Sometimes,it will be cut off when i made a phone call.And its battery is very very terrible.It only can use an hour or two..It makes me craze.But I don't think the cell phone is a necessary thing for me.All my friends are all around me.And I also can use telephone to keep in touch with some friends in distance.The cell phone isn't a luxury thing for me, but i think i can use the money do something more meaningful.Anybody have some great advice for me??

I have a newer cellphone, its a Katana by Sanyo, I've had it for about a year and I have had no problems with it and love it!

Hi there! I think that you should have your mobile cellular phone checked by a professional first. How old is your cellphone by the way? Maybe it's still under warranty? Maybe you can stil save your phone. But if it's hopeless, then you should probably get a new one.

Since you state that you don't really need it much, instead of buying a new phone with good quality compared to the one you are replacing, why not set the money aside until a time comes when you really need some financial aid?
I often set aside money and if possible, hold it long enough, along with new additional funds that come by, and if something intersting comes up or an interest gets by, a friend needs some financial aid, family needs it often though, I could have a ready supply to be able to participate in helping out ^_^
