Having a baby in the family is a great joy especially if it's the first one. I have read in some books that couples can now choose the gender of the child they are going to make. It says there are techniqes to be done but I did not pay much attention to those methods because I don't really believe its 100% possible. However, if you could really choose the gender of your baby, would you rather have a baby boy or baby girl for first born? Why?

A boy, A boy! I want a baby boy who looks like his father. Will grow as tall or taller than his father. Has his father's eyes' color, pointed nose, skin color and appeal. But with the intelligence, wisdom, the good heart, common sense, and gentleness of his MOTHER. that's me. lol

even if it would be possible, I don't believe I'd do that....with this kind of manipulation I think I could have a boy with had to be a girl and viceversa and maybe this could cause mental problems...I wanted to have a girl but we had a boy but I love him so much and I'm very happy for his born

I always wanted to have a first child a boy...and i got it. I have a beautiful baby boy who just turn 18 months. I think that new technology can actually work. If i could choose again i would still go for a boy altough i dont know why, it was always my dream...but then i have heard from other mums that girls are easy going and it is easier to look after them. So to be honest i would love to have a girl next time. But at the end of the day when you are expecting it doesn`t really matter what you have as soon as it is allright.

That technology sounds believable, though there is no chance for me cause I have got enough children, all 7 of them. Lucky for me, my preference first born is a boy and my eldest son is now 13. I prefer boys cause they do not make much hassle when going out. Pull up jeans and T-shirt will do, whereas girls need time to dress up. Boys also tend to be more forgiving while girls are a bit sensitive. I am not complaining, and I am glad that God gave me 4 charming sons and 3 beautiful girls. Boys or girls, there are all my children and must be treated equally.
