How many earrings do you wear?

Ouch! You've got guts! It took me all the way until freshman year in high school to get the guts up enough to get 1 hole in each ear (so i suppose I could say i have TWO piercings, hee hee). I'd be too nervous doing it myself if I made a mistake or if I got an infection. And I'd probably just chicken out. But at least in high school, I bought one of those fold onto the upper part of the ear, that I loved. It was like a thick ring. And it's once in a blue moon that I will change my earrings, which mostly just change the stud when I lose it while cleaning or so. And even bluer moon if I wear dangling earrings. But wow, 8! I think taht's cool that you did that as an adult. :o)

I just have one hole in each ear. So I wear one earring in each time. I have a hard time putting the earrings in as I am not nearsighted, and I have a hard time finding the holes, so more holes would rather confuse me. I have these funny shaped ears that are very close to my face so there really is that not much room and it is cheaper to have one earring in each ear than three or four since I also have sensitive ears and am allergic to nickel and can only use gold or surgical steel for the posts.

I was only able to pierce on ear which is the left, I am right handed so I find it difficult to pierce my right ear. I only wear one since that's the case but I surely had a few earings yet, oddly as it seems, other people tend to lose them more than I do ^_^;

i usually wear 2 pairs of earrings since i have 2 holes on each ear :)

I'm 60 and I have 3 holes in each ear that have been there for years. I wear 2 pair of earrings all the time and when I go somewhere (which is seldom) I put earrings in the third one.

None. Hey, someone had to be a boring spoilsport. I always wondered what motivated (usually) women to get multiple (3-10?) ear piercings. I just looks flat out painful to me (I whine like 3 year old when they have to take blood at the doctors) and the tissue up high is SENSITIVE. At least it was when I would get my ears flicked in Jr. High. Sometimes I really like it, sometimes not as much. I think it depends as much on social context as anything else for me. How do you decide how many your going to wear to say, an event vs. work vs. diner with your Grandma?

Hi Dragon, I have 5 holes in each ear. I only wear the top ones in all the time. The others have turned really sensitive so I have yet to find any earrings to put in there that dont react or itch. I don't really have piercings to make a statement. I'm all about having fun.
