I, Killahclaire, solemny swear that today Friday 07 March 2008 I will not stray away from my diet. These extra pounds will not shift themselves gouging on full fat soda and carbs.
I, Killahclaire, solemny swear that today Friday 07 March 2008 that I will do my washing and change my bed because my room is starting to smell and living like a pig will not get me any further in life and I am not very pleasant to live with.
I, Killahclaire, solemny swear that today Friday 07 March 2008 that I will do my best on myLot to earn as many pennies as physically possible and will not take part in discussions that may well be funny but are bound to be deleted because they are ridiculous.
Would anyone else care to take a pledge?

about the diet part, try this method instead. before every meal, eat at least 1 tomato. maintain this habit as long as you can, and soon, you can see that your love handles/spare tyre/belly will slowly disppear. my mother swears by it and besides, it's really more healthier too.

How does eating a tomato help. People keep on coming up with crazy fads.
I thought tomatos were announced as bad for your health a few weeks ago lol.

Well to be honest my current diet is actually going pretty well and tomatoes would clash with that but I will remember it in case I need it in the future.

my mother read from this book that tomatoes are supposed to combat/fight the fats in your body. i tried it too, it works, but i'm just too lazy to grab a tomato to eat though. anyway, no harm trying, losing 1 or 2kg is better than none, i suppose..

I couldn't help but smile at your pledge. My friend and I were having a discussion at work today about this same thing. We are going on holiday at the end of April and we are both overweight. As soon as we start with our diets, it is as if we start eating everything that we can lay our hands on as if we will never eat again. Maybe each one of us should write out a pledge like yours, sign it and exchange it. I give her mine and she gives me hers, and we remind each other every time we want to cheat. Hang in there, keep to your pledge. But I think you should start with cleaning your room and you will feel a 100% better, even more positive to stick to your diet. Good luck, I'm with you in this.

I am on the Atkins and already lost about a stone and half so I know it easy when I actually follow it.
Yeah I really need to do my bedroom. Not changed my bed for about a month but the truth be told I am always staying at my friends house so I really have only slept in about half of that but still thats two weeks worth of yuckiness. Lol.
Yeah I hope everyone takes a pledge today. you should write out yours on here.

I'm definitely going to work on the pledge. I'm on Dr Cohen - don't know if you know about it. A fantastic diet that works but you must be committed and not cheat, which is the difficult part. Maybe the pledge is not such a bad idea :)

So tell me, were you able to keep all these promises. Were you able to stay on your diet and since this is 3 weeks old, have you lost some weight you were hoping for. Did you do your laundry and change your sheets on your bed? Did you do a lot of responding in mylot that day?
I try to do at least 20 responses a day in mylot and it has been working for me. Now that mylot is paying more for them, I am motivated again. I am averaging about a dollar a day, not with 20 responses though, but with about 40 of them, and I am happy with those earnings. I am about 3 weeks behind in my emails, and I like it that way because if the discussion is going to be deleted I see that before I waste my time responding to it.
