I am a quitter and very proud of it.
I am talking about SMOKING here. Yup, I stopped smoking 10 years ago and have never fallen back since then.
I know smoking is a habit and old habit is hard to break. Kicking the habit is hard for a lot of people. It calls for a firm decision, lots of determination and ample amount of perseverance.
I am proud of myself because I didn't have to make anything drastic to quit. I just puffed my last cigarette and decided right there and then, I quit! And I did. Just like that.
So are you a quitter? Or you are trying your best to quit? What is your best shot to kick the habit?

i am glad that u quit. i hate people that smoke..they ruin not only their own life but of also the people around them. I have never smoked in my life because i know that if i ever even tried it...i may get addicted to it and i simple don't want to take that chance. i encourage everyone to stop smoking.

No I am not a quitter because I never picked up the habit. Out of curiosity I just tried a few sticks in high school but never got hooked. It was very easy for me to decide that there's nothing good from it and I really wondered why some people are so addicted to smoking.
Anyway, congratulations. That seems to be very hard to accomplish for most smokers.

My husband and I have both tried to quit on several occasions and have not succeeded but we are trying again. I guess we dont have the will power because I know we have our minds made up we are going to quit. If anyone has any tips with the cravings let me know.

They say candies or gum whenever you get the urge to smoke, eat candies or chew gums. And persistence. Just try again and again and you will succeed someday.

I would suggest the try of bubble gums or some low in sugar strong taste sweets to kick the habit of smoking. It really helps, as I've tried it out and really got out of it after some time. It may take some time to get rid of it and slowly change the time used to smoke to chew bubble gums. As the strong taste of the sweet will stay in your mouth and you would not have the urge to smoke or waste one of it. It might not be a fast kicking way but it really works!

Yeah, some people have different way of kicking the habit. It's a good thing I only need to make a drastic decision and that's all about it.
