Hi, The cheapest decent option is an Acer model which starts at 21,000 in Bombay. I am a Computer hardware professional in Bombay & sell computers. This laptop is OK for net applications, Tally & Ms office, but bad for multi-tasking, high end games & Graphics. you asked the best of all things. The best config is not so cheap the good configs start at 27,000 up. "HP" gives you the best in performance, looks & build. Sony is over priced. Others a bit behind. Apple Mac Books are great & personally the ultimate, but costs a lot go nothing less than a Core 2 duo with 2 GB ram. add 1 GB more if they give you 1gb ram(the norm). Thats the current entry level at 27,000 up.
