Is the price of Wii worth it?

With the current price of Wii around $400, do you think it's worth it to get one? Will the price drop after 6 months or so? I've tried it out at a few stores and found it really interesting to get one fill up my spare time and doing some moving instead of sitting at the couch moving my fingers only. Are there alot of varieties for the games? Are we able to downloadd the games online? any idea how to get free games or cheap ones?

$400 really? wow did they go up in price? I ask because I brought one for my son as soon as they came out and only paid $249 for it.Thats alot you can get an xbox 360 for cheaper than that. The wii is not worth no 400 dollars in my opinion.

I dont think its worth it. Theres not much you can do with it. Id rather get a ps3.

NO! It is not worth it! I had bought it almost for 7 months and I have to say it's only fun for the first 2 weeks. If only there are more games for it then I might be a happy customer as of now... the lack of games is really killing me! Argh... almost everything are party games! Too bad... it really has lots of potential.
You should probably wait for another 6-7 months perhaps, just wait and see what happens cause as of now $400 for a wii is not worth it!

It's a good thing for those lazy bumps who would like to do some moves.
I've got one for 250USD few months ago for my brother who was too lazy to go for exercise and he lost a few pound out of it! Good way to keep you entertain and lose your pounds. As for the online game dowloading, I haven't try it out.
