Desktop Computer or a Notebook?

I've been using a notebook for almost 8years and got used to it so much until recently my notebook broke down and I have no choice but to get a cheaper one with the better speed which means a personal Desktop computer. It was a problem for me as I usually move around my house with the notebook but now I'm only able to be at a static spot doing all my stuffs on my computer. I'm thinking of trading it out and get myself a lower speed notebook. It doesn't really matters much though but Do you think it's worth it? Is a Desktop Computer better or a Notebook?

I still like to have this desktop.. It is hard to find a notebook that lasts long.

I see. Thanks for the reply. Which model of desktop are you using? Is it a self build up system or a prebuild like Acer, HP, dell.. etc?

Notebook is a much better choice. It depends on what do you use your system for. If it's mainly for high end graphic such as games or design, I would suggest you to pick a Desktop instead but looks like you are mainly using it for sufring or checking mails etc which do not need 'super' speeds, getting a notebook will be a good option. Just go for the lower end ones, it would not cost you bigbucks now.
