Mine dont as ive always got my head stuck in one of them, but have you rushed out and bought cook books only for them to sit on shelves gathering dust? or do you use them, I think sometimes for an average person the recipes can be difficult and rather daunting.

Cookbooks to me are about as useful as nuclear physics! I can't cook and won't cook! I hate cooking, I just don't have the patience and I've never taken an interest in it. The only cook book I own is Jamie Oliver's and I had it bought for me not for the fact that it could help me create mouth watering recipes but the fact that I liked him! I don't think I've ever used it, never will either.

do you not like cooking or dont like the fact you have to follow a recipe, I always find that if you love food then cook from the heart and throw out the cookbooks.

I'm very fond of buying cookbooks when I was younger, when I still have a lot of time to do and experiment on home cooking. But my busy lifestyle now takes me away from the kitchen, that's why I only use those recipe books whenever there's a special occasion and I need to cook a specialty for my family. Other recipes are already stuck in my head so I don't need guidance on them anymore. When you know your recipe by heart, you can cook it even with your eyes closed, right? :)
