How old should a new baby be before they get into a pool?

i was just wondering how old a child should be before you let them get into a swimming pool?

I think the sooner you get a child into a swimming pool the better, that way they will get used to it, and will not be afraid of it. Just be sure to not get water in thier ears as they can can infected. Children can learn to swim easier at a early age, just keep your eyes on them.

You need to be real carefull not to get water in there ears. I dont really how old i would tell you but, just be safe.
