Happy 8th of March to all women

Today is the international day of the woman it is a celebration to all women in the world (mother's day is for mothers) so its nice that we have a day for those women that are not mothers as well. Ok so there is the whole political and historical part behind it but does anyone even remember why we celebrate it any more (I bet half of the people dont know why we celebrate half of the things any more). Anyway. Do you celebrate 8 March? What do you do? AND HAPPY 8TH OF MARCH TO ALL

Sorry, I did not know that March 8th had any significance! I have never heard of any one celebrating it! I am glad to know though that there is a day for all women :)
So, what do you do to celebrate this day?

It started in the begining of the 20th century as a result from women fighting for their rights. To celebrate men take their women out and they buy presents (most oftn is flowers). It is a big deal in Europe.

Yes I was I got a ring (2 ring this year I got one for valentine they are not very expencive about $100 each) flowers and we went out for dinner than we had a long walk on the beach (nothing romantic it was me, husband, son and my sister and her family)
