Jesus Carries His Cross - The cross was too heavy. The flesh on his shoulder was torn, the wounds on the shoulder was so deep. Who can carry the sins the world on his shoulder? Only Jesus. His love for humanity and obedience to the will of God the Father. Has Jesus forsee the truimph of this offering? Yes, He has conquered the world and establish His kingdom - through His cross. His throne is the Cross, He rules the world with Love and self sacrifice. What greater Love can a man give than to offer his life for his friend? It is an outpouring of his life, his blood and his flesh that he gained humanity. See how great is his love. Our selfish heart is too little to be opened to offer simple acts of love and kindness to our neighbor. Are we willing to carry the cross and burden of others? Is our heart magnanimous and sensitive to offer love? Give love and conquer the world with love - and we will have a better place to live. The cross becomes heavier when we do not share the burden of our suffering neighbor. Many are naked, hungry and without shelter. Many are thirsty and aimless and hopeless. Many live the life unfitting for human existence. Lord, open our eyes that we may see the suffering around us, open our hearts that we may give love, open our pocket and share the wealth with the poor, open our helping hands to help the needy to help them built their lives, open our ears that we may hear the cry of many. Your cross is my cross, I want to be one with you as you carry this heavy cross. I fear not to be wounded, humiliated as I follow this road to Calvary. I fear not what people will say as I follow you torn and scorn, beaten and covered with dirt and blood. And all around you people treated you with contempt. Let me not seek the praise and approval and applause of men. To follow you is to be misunderstood and to be treated as worthless. To be clothed in blood and poverty.
