Have you ever made an original homemade Halloween costume?

I have heard of some clever ones. One year, when I was a teen in the 80's, I spray painted a box and cut arm and a head hole and went as a Rubik's Cube. I thought it was original anyway...

I love making halloween costumes. This year I made my son's he was Lighting McQueen from CARS movies. I made a box into a car and made designs just like McQueen has on. For my daugher I made her into a devil princess costume.

LMAO a long long time ago my sister and I took all the boxes we could find and made robot costumes. We painted the boxes silver and our mom added a bunch of christams lights to them. They were awesome and quite the site!

Yes, I have.
When my son was a wee one, I made him a spider costume from a pattern I purchased at the fabric store. He was a chubby little black spider, complete with "web."
