One side of the coin is that with cash you are always free to get anything you wish to..Other side is that if you are to receive a gift then it excites u in a different way because it would be a surprise as to what would you get...
What do u prefer ? Cash or Gift ?

I feel that cash is more practical than gifts in rewards.
All gifts have a value ($$) and as such how much it will be worth will then have to be done to equate and get the gift. That may not be easily achieved as compared to min. payout for cash.

maybe some people prefer cash instead of gifts because cash gives them the freedom to buy whatever things that they want. it could be that sometimes we tend to give people things that they already have or don't really want or need, stuff like that. i prefer both; cash or gifts- better still if the gift is something that i really, really want!

I think many people (including myself) prefer cash because then they can get something they want or need. Many people just buy random gifts rather than thinking about what a person might really enjoy. A person can only take so many bath kits!

cash has more liquidity than others with no doubt. it can turned to anything you want(apart from those can't be bought by money).
i prefer cash to be a reward in the case such as the prize from my boss. but i'm also surprised and excited to receive gifts from my friends or relatives.

If I like the gift,I prefer gift.
If I don't like the gift,I prefer cash. With cash I could buy anything I want it.
