Tips on how to delete a virus called TLA (Taga Lipa Are)

A Filipino from STI made a virus called TLA. It is creating 2 files in the hard drive, a VBS file and an autorun.inf file and It is also creating a Registry item called “Taga Lipa Are”. It is spreading in the hard drives, USB Flash Disks and Thumb Drives. But some said that it isn’t a harmful virus. But you still need to delete it so that your PC will be clean. Steps [Difficulty: **] : 1. Press the CTRL+ALT+DEL [Task Manager]. 2. End the process: WScript.exe 3. Go to Folder Options [ToolsFolder Options…] 4. Uncheck “Hide Protected Operating System Files” and “Hide extensions for known file types” 5. Select “Show Hidden Files and Folders” also. 6. Then click OK. 7. Find the file in your system. 8. And delete it. 9. Go to StartRun… 10. type in “regedit” 11. then search for the item: “Taga Lipa Are” 12. delete the title item “Taga Lipa Are” in the registry. 13. Close regedit. 14. Restart PC 15. It should be successful. Steps [Difficulty: ***]: 1. Follow 1-6 steps above. 2. Go to StartRun… 3. type in “cmd” 4. navigate through your drive. [using the ‘cd’ command] 5. If you have another drive/partition. You need to go to the other drive, coz the virus is spreading around. Especially to people who has USB Flash Disks and Thumb Drives. 6. Then type in “del [filename.dll.vbs]” 7. then type this again (if successful): “del [autorun.inf]” 8. then close CMD. 9. Go to StartRun… 10. type in ‘regedit’ 11. Search for the registry item: “Taga Lipa Are” 12. Delete that registry Item. 13. Close Regedit 14. Restart PC. 15. It should be successful. The creator of this virus, copied the style of HBG [Hacked by Godzilla] virus. This is shameful. Even my pc i use for work has became a victim of the same virus format called jaymyka.wen9. I pity those people who did this thing.
