what kind of pen is best for handwriting aesthetics?

Ball point pens are the fastest but aesthetics suffer, fountain pens are slow and clumsy but steady, pilots are not for all kinds of paper. I wonder if I'll find the right pen ever?

I agree even though ball points are the most readily accessible i dont prefer them at all. While i find fountain pens better there is no beating pencils. Perhaps its because im more used to them but i write best with pencils.
