New Contract for Ben

Yeah, he got a new contract but he also currently has a groin injury so it will be interesting to see if he will play for the first game.

The way I saw it, he signed a $102 million dollar deal for 8 years, and that he is guaranteed thirty-some million. Ben said that he has no plans on ever going anywhere else and, since day one he's planned on staying in Pittsburgh. Yay!!!

Thanks for the update! I live on a small Island off the coast of B.C. Monday nite, Sat., & Sun. we only get NFL and AFL games. (It's a riot..we have our own team, B.C. Lion's & they could be playing, but we don't get CFL broadcasts!) 28 years ago, when I moved to this Island, the "Steelers" and the "Pirates" quickly became my favourite teams.....but in the "off-season" we get none of the "hoopla" that keeps us informed as to what's happening team-wise, so when the new season starts it's like watching a new series of "Survivor." It's your year! Thanks!

Thats good for Ben. They should've gave him a longer contract.
