6-Week-Old Infant Beaten, Burned, Drugged

My heart breaks after reading a story like this. In Bogalusa, Louisiana, a babysitter noticed that the baby was not breathing and had several marks on her body and called 911. The child suffered head trauma, hemorrhaging, burns, and drugs in her system. She is now at the Children's Hospital in New Orleans and on life support. No arrests have been made yet but the 19 year old mother and other relatives are suspects.
I can't believe anyone would do this to a child. After I read this story, I went over to give my 4 month old a hug and kiss. I can't even bear the thought of him getting hurt in any way.
How could anyone do this?

This is very sick. I hate to read stories like this in the news. I also do not understand how these crazy people could hurt a child.
They have to be sick in the mind.. and really evil to do something like that.But they are cowards to do something like that. Small children should be taken care of and protected from evil.

This is really sad. how could someone have the heart to do such thing to an innocent baby who does not even know what is happening around her. I really hate to know things such as this still happens in our supposed to be civilized world today... I really hope they would catch the culprit and punished him or her accordingly.
