Voting Strategy for Men

There's been a lot of talk about this lately. The White House has always been a man's domain and even in this day and age, the men want to keep it that way. If the presidential election comes down to McCain vs. Obama, men will vote for the candidate they feel will best represent our country.
BUT... if it comes down to McCain vs. Hillary Clinton, men will vote for McCain even if they don't like him. Even if Clinton were to be a better president.
I'm not suggesting that my vote is for Clinton, but when will men ever climb out of their caves and recognize that there are strong, intelligent women out there who are perfectly capable of (and successful at) running businesses and could quite potentially run our country as well.

I so much agree with you, I just wish that men can understand that. I know alot of men that will vote for Hillary, And some that will not ( but were working on them)!
One wife said that if her husband did not vote for Hillary he was cut off. LOL, like she will ever no who he voted for. I got a laugh out of that one.

Interesting comments leeesa.
But I can't say that I agree with your view on this. I am a man and I haven't met one man that has said that they would NOT vote for Hilary because she is a woman. Not one. But I have talked to women who have made their position clear. A few said that they would definatley vote for here just because she is a woman, and pretty much only because she was a woman. And I have even spoken to a few that have said that they would NOT vote for her because she was a woman. I wish I had had the opportunity to find out why they came to that conclusion.
I am a man that votes on issues and not on gender or race. I have to say that I am a bit offended to be lumped into one big sexist group. I am sure there are guys that fit the profile you outlined. But very many of us don't. (I am only a little bit offended... ;) )

Thanks for your reply. I am very glad to hear your opinion! This was taken from an article in my local paper, so I guess I can't say that I personally heard people talking about this, other than responding to the article itself.
And you're right, I am sure there are many women who would vote for Clinton just because she is a woman.
Perhaps I shouldn't lack such confidence in people and trust that they vote as you do, based on the issues alone.
This post ought to strike up some good conversation though!
Sorry to offend! I'm not a man hater, really! ;)

Lol.
I think that there may be some of that going on but in order to be more PC men aren't voicing that opinion. I guess it might be like black people can say "ni***r" but white people can't. Maybe women are allowed to say things about Hilary that men can't. It's a crazy world.
I never took you for a hater. I bet you get some good responses on this. Good luck.
