People Who Don't Help Themselves

I frequently meet people who have a lot of troubles of all varieties and feel sorry for themselves for being in those situations. While I understand that some things are out of our control, bit it sometimes drives me batty that people don't put in the effort to learn from their mistakes and make an effort to improve their situations. I don't mean those who are depressed, or who are otherwise mentally ill, or those who literally can't do anything about things. I am thinking of the ones who honestly have no good reason not to fix a few small habits and make a difference in their lives. I don't know. I just don't get it... ANyone else bothered by this?

yes this bothers me too,I think the reason why most people do this is because they want attention or that they want someone to do it allfor them. Some of these people I think were just raised this way and always had everything done for them, so when they get out into the real world this is what happens.
