free ipod !

okay someone gave me a site that gives you free things like ipods, uh i dont know if it was a scam or not but when i tryed to , you also had to do an offer for 1.95 and i did, so i put in my credit card number and all that info and it said that it wasnt correct ! um i had an ipod but it got stolen , does anyone know where i can get one for free or cheap ? or does anyone have one for free ? i know this may seem strange but oh well !

Hey britzsofly. I have never heard of ANY of those online free iPod deals to be anything but scams. Ever! I have never heard of anyone getting a free iPod online. Ever! I have known very many people who have been scammed by offers that are "too good to be true". When looking at these offers, ask yourself one question. "Why would they be giving me something for free that costs hundreds of dollars?" The answer is always, "they wouldn't." I have known a few people who won them in raffles held by legitimate organizations. Or at car dealerships when you buy a car or something big ticket like that. Please be very careful.
