wifi connections

To be able to get wireless internet you need a router to the best of my understanding. The router is the pathway to the internet. There is a standard router that just uses cable...and a wireless router than gives you your wifi. If you have a laptop and go to anyplace that has a wifi hotspot you can hook into a router there. Raia
