baby gas

Is there anything you can do for a baby who has really bad gas? I have a 2 month old and he has had the worst gas ever. No matter what we do nothing seems to work. The doctor has tried switching his milk like 4 or 5 times. I think we have a can of every sorta milk out there lol. The doctor said there is nothing that he can give him at all. Just to try milicon and see if that helps. He burps really good after he eats. The milk he is on now seems to be helping him a bit more. There was a time period of 7 or 9 days straight of him screaming and cring because of his gas hurting his belly so bad. All I could do to keep from cring was letting someone else have him for an hour here and an hour there. It hurts to see him in so much pain sometimes. They thought something was wrong with his stomach and did an ultrasound on his little tummy, but nothing is wrong. He is just a really gassy baby.

if it's more at night time he may have colic. i would take him to the doctor to make sure. if it's mainly after he eats, you may need to switch his formula to something that has low iron in it. a lot of babies don't handle that much iron to well. keep us posted and God bless
