I am writing this as I am hoping it will help someone who is stressing because of wedding planning. I could tell you not to worry and just to relax and enjoy it, but that is most likely not going to work! I am coming close to my wedding--4 months out and I am still trying to figure out how it is all going to work and where all of the money is going to be coming from. The truth is though that amidst all the stress I am under, I actually want to become a wedding planner now so I can save all of you future brides from at least a little of the stress I have been under. First off, for flowers--Find a wholesaler!! I am using the wholesaler for Phillips Flowers so I can avoid all of the overhead costs that most places have. This is allowing me to have some botanical flowers and more roses than I originally thought I could afford. Next suggestion, instead of going with a huge photography place, I went with a small independent photographer instead. I am lucky and I am able to have two photographers for unlimited time and unlimited pictures, whereas most places give you one for the same cost. Next, look into all inclusive resorts for honeymoons. I want to go to Hawaii more than anything, but the hotel itself costs the same as it does in the Carribean and meals and activities are not included in Hawaii. We are looking into Sandals resorts right now. I will keep you posted as to how this works out. Oh, I have many more pieces of advice.....Look for more to come as you all respond! I can't wait to hear from brides to be.........
