With strangers we can start with common topics like how is the weather, current news, games and then slowly , general questions about the person, his name , address, work, liking and disliking, places he has visited, TV programs that he likes, movies etc........oh I think there is a lot to talk with a stranger. I think if you will ask all the above questions to stranger , within an hour he will be your friend and no more stranger.......lol have a nice day.

I first look at him and give a smile, if he too smiles back, then I will start the conversation with a simple Hi. Then start a general talk about the place.. like.. seems like you like this place.. How do you like this place(or tell my opinion about that place) or.. your kid is smart..and things like that... then start to talk on and on...........:)
