Cats, definatly cats. I have two cats and two dogs, but I'm more a cat person than a dog one. Reasons? That's hard to answer. I guess it's one of those things you're just programmed for. I know that cuddling a cat is easier than a dog, and they don't take up so much room in the bed! When I invite the dogs into the bed they just have no manners & squash me, whereas the cats will curl up nicely on the end of the bed & wake me up by patting my face. all say 'ahhhh'!

I dont find one better then the other. They both have thier pluses about them. Dogs are protective and all but can be alot harder to look after. I just got rid of my dog after having him for 9 years and as much as I miss him, its kinda nice having just my cats left. They pretty much look after themselves :)

I like both cats and dogs, but I choose to have dogs - I have two in fact. I do prefer dogs because you can have more interaction with them, and they depend on you, whereas cats are more independent free spirits!
It really is just a matter of personal choice, because they both have their own appealing characteristics.

I like both the same, as i have a cat and a dog and they both get treated the same.
