Real pocket Pomeranians?

I see so many people with really small Pomeranian dogs that are fully mature and still under 3 pounds but everywhere I look it seems like all the Pomeranians for adoption or sale are averaging five to 6 pounds as adult. Has anyone purchased a Pomeranian that stayed under 3 pounds? If so, where did you buy it? I'm just really curious to know. Thanks in advance!
