I think I know why death is such a mystery, it's probably one of the only things in life that NO one has managed to answer, probably because no one has ever died and come back to tell all!
This is Wolfie's scenario, if we knew what the big mystery was about dying, and it sounded good, wouldn't we be lining up to kill ourselves? That is exactly what or who ever created us does NOT want happening!
Could you imagine if it was proved that if you died you returned as an amimal or returned to live again. Then if you were unhappy, depressed with this life you'd be quick to end this life?
Makes sense why it's a mystery and why NO ONE knows because if we did, people would start acting liking lemmings
Suicide rates would go sky high and what a mess this world would be in when reports of not just one or two in the dailies of suicides, but hundreds and thousands of people killing themselves
Suddenly death becomes heaven, becomes the ultimate prize that people will be queuing up to kill themselves.
So that is the big secret why no one knows what happens when we dies
What is your take on this. If we knew what happened when we died, wouldn't that change the way we lived? And our views on the big Death, Debate?

I've never had a confirmed NDE--though there have been times I wonder if I might have come close while still not having what sever others have talked about having.
This life is a gift, so why should I leave it before it's really time for me to leave and not come back?
So, even if I had the full NDE and didn't just rely on faith alone (and the evidence of what's so obvious around me that God's in charge!), I wouldn't see myself making an exit by my own hand.
This life would be an unfinished assignment, and I'd return to finish it with the joy of knowing what lay ahead but, also, with the joy of enjoying the gift of the here-and-now!
