I had a best friend for 15 years. We had a falling out, but that was the longest relationship I've ever had. Now family wise, all my family all my life so if my parents were still alive, it would be 50 years. As it was 38 years for my Mom and 33 years for my Dad. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and dating for over a year before that. I'm hoping he becomes my longest relationship. But then my brothers would have to die for that to happen. Oh well, you know what I mean. Getting really tired on this mylot a thon. Take care.

That's good, I hope my husband and I have many more years together too.
I'm trying, my hands/wrists are getting sore. But I'm still going strong. Thanks.

My best friend and I have been friends for the best part of 23 years. We met each other shortly after my first child was born and before she even had any children. We also had a fall out and didn't see each other for about a year, but we got together again, and have been best friends ever since. I'm very priviledged to have her as my friend. She is the person whom I can trust with anything. She knows enough about me to bribe me, but still she loves me and I love her. Obviously my mother has known me for the past 46 years, though. I guess that's the longest relationship then, but so does my two older brothers... Makes you think, doesn't it?

Sounds like you have lots of wonderful, well-grounded relationships. Yes, it does make you think. And thinking is a beautiful thing!
