When you were a student, did you do work study? If you did what or where did you

work at? I had two different work study experiences. First was in the library with materials that had to be signed out and used right there. Second was in the media center making copies by permission from the sources for French Language and other language tapes.

Yes. When I was a student, I worked part-time at the Students Affairs Office as a Student Assistant. I've enjoyed my work there because I became more popular to students and I gained more work experience and friends.

I admire you for that, but often there isn't work study in high school or like you said, if there is, there is no time to do it. Thanks and take care.

When I was a student in high school I did not work. My parents wanted me to focus on my studies. When in college, I did work part time. It wasn't work study but instead away from the college. I was adult when I attended and had three children so it was a different set of circumstances. Unfortunately, I did not complete college. I've regreted it ever since.

It's almost impossible to complete college when you have a job - even part time - and children. It may be still possible for you to complete college some day, you never know. Take care

I either studied in my room or the library. I prefered my room. We didn't have media centers back in the dark ages when I was in college.

My sister did some of that, but I never did. I could barely maintain my grades without working. Maybe if I hadn't been sick all the time I'd've done better in college.

I only did it during a couple of easy semesters. One summer one when I wasn't taking classes and the other one they let me study while I was having students sign things out. I had a rough time getting good grades after that, my Mom had cancer the first time when I was in college, my grades plummeted. Really hurt my chances for good jobs after college. Take care

Work study is when the college pays you to work while you go to school. That way you can afford to go there. They get work done for cheaper labor. They don't have to pay medical or retirement benefits. You get to learn something like a skill - usually.

When I was a student, I did several part-time job and they are not at the same time...once I worked in school library and did some easy assisstant work...also I worked for a company and helped them to train their employees on English-learning...more, being private tutor, I taught some teenages...Those experiences did mean much to me when I was still a school-boy.

I usually study myself but I'd like to have discussion group By having a discussion group it allows us to discuss , question and answer. And sometimes guiding weaker friends in studies In such cases this will enchance your memory on the said topic and also gain better understand This works, proven on myself

The work study I'm mean is when the college hires you to work while you are studying in their college. That way you can afford to go there and they can keep costs down. Sorry, I should have defined it more. Take care
