Has anyone noticed that if you sign up for any of these pay for reading ads things that you at once doom yourself to a mountain of spam not just a few but literally a hundred of them. as if they give your name to every company in the US? It has become really bad even though I deleted those pay for reading ads from my files I am still inundated with a lot of unwanted garbage. I know I can delete them but why so many? And after a little whileI realized that what few cents they paid was not worth the effort.

Make a separate e-mail for this, exclude your main email which you use for vital purposes. Do not tick the email option while signing for an account in these kind of programs. While deleting if you accidentally delete some important mail, might be you will get into some kind of trouble. So be cautious, and use an alternative adress. This blow of the head deleting thousands of spam mails sent by these programs.

Sure, spam has been a persistent problem for ever and ever and I doubt it will ever be completely eradicated.
Just have to live with them, Patsie.
Try gmail - their spam filter is not perfect but is probably the best out there.
