Do you have a friend that lives far away you never get to see?

Oh wow ya! I have friends in Canada that I never get to see..in California, Ohio, Australia and various other parts of the U.S and it sucks..but I TRY to stay in touch and visit when I can etc etc....

Wow, i also miss one of my greatest friend who suddenly got to go to US and almighty i miss him very much and we didn't able to meet each other for almost 4 years. But we chat frequently and talk to each other, and he also wanted to come India back to see where he had some finest memories in his kind heart!!! Have a nice day!!!

You mean apart from all our wonderful mylot friends? I do have friends that live far away and it is horrible but I do try to keep in touch. I think the hardest one is my brother - we have always been close and he lives in Spain now - I have only seen him twice in 3 years. xxx

Yes i have a friend who studied in college.but now he's gone to australia.i sometimes chat with him or message him in orkut,but i don't get to see him.

After I graduate from school ,I have get far from all my friends at school, now we all have work ,and we all busy with our work and life .We don't contact with each other very often ,I some time miss them very much, But ,we all have new life and new friend now.Life must go on ,and there are lots of things we can't control .

i think this is our life ! not everything is moving just like our whishes! i already didn't contact with mt childhood firends for an long time ! he got new firends and so am i !

I've a best friend since i was in 6th grade and we studied in the same school until high school. we constantly keep in touch though we didn't hang out with the same crowd. ours is a mature kind of friendship and we respected each other's interests. we went to different universities but we still kept in touch to catch up on each other's lives. when we talk, it's like we see each other everyday! we're like sisters and our boyfriends even thought that we were lesbian lovers in high school, lol! she's in new york now taking up her forensic psych post grad and i'm still here in the philippines finishing my law degree. IM is such a blessing to us, and we talk on the phone a lot. she's the type of friend that you'll grow old with, and i'd like to spend more time with her if given a chance.

My best friend lives far away from me too. But we often chat in the internet so it feels like she's not that far from me. We haven't seen each other for almost 3 years. She's already married while I'm still single, I know that our priorities in life already different but we value our friendship so we still manage to keep in touch. We're both hoping that even we are already old the friendship still there.

Every time I see that photo (that you posted with the two close pal kitties), I feel so warm and happy inside. So cute! Anyway, yes, my childhood best friend moved back to Iceland. But a year after she moved back to Iceland, my whole family visited her there, and snatched her off to go on a vacation to Europe. We still keep in touch (many, many years later), but not enough. It is sad how though you were best friends, distances can make it simmer down, even if you still love each other. But at least we have so many great memories.

well i have a friend back home in ohio her name is mary we have been best friends cine 6th grade..she has 2 kids now i have one:( ive seen her about 4 years ago but that ws the last:(we talk on myspace as much as posssible butwe both mom that work so its not easy:( i miss her and would love to go see her .

I have such a friend like yours.but the difference is we do not often talk on the phone or internet,and we see eachother about two times a year.Although we do not contact with eachother frequently,we always have a lot of topic when we get together.

When I lived in MO for 3 years I gained my best friends ever. I now live in PA/NY and I talk to them often. Its hard to get out there to visit because of gas and other things. If I could id go out as much as I can but I cant afford it. I plan to go there this may, only way im not is if I cant come up with a car or gas money. Right now its going good though so we shall see. I talk to them mostly online and text them too. I want to move back there but I cant which sucks.

i have a freind who is my primary classmate,we have not seen each other since grauated from primary school.but one day he see me on the internet,we kept in touch since then, however we have not visit each other,because the distance between the school and mine is very far

I have a cousin that lives half way across the US from me and a highschool friend that lives about an hour away from me. I dont really hang out with me friends anymoree cuz I moved an hour away from most of em. Its just me and emma these days..lol

yes i do, my best friend for 10 years, she was the best i could have asked for. we always talked, did stuff, i practically lived at her house rather than my own, but she moved away and it hurt. she came back to visit and we got to spend some time together, but i havent seen her in 4 years. but in place of her, i got another best friend, again inseperable, but this time i was forced to move by my parents 3 hours away, but we still talk every day, and i going to move back down there in a year, but i hate not being able to hang wit her like we used to, but she is my best friend, so i know how you feel.

I actually do. She lives halfway across the world, with no communication whatsoever. I have another one, though not as far, just enough for me not to be able to him. We talk on Msn normally, though never on the phone because of international payments. :P

Yes, and im sure there are many people in the same situation. But with my friend, we had been very close since our moms were still carrying us:) We were so close that sometimes we would do things that we will regret but later laugh about it. We had a friendship that i could say was close to perfect. He was the only one i could ever run to and tell my deepest secrets. He always listens and understands me even when i tend to sound so nonsence. Well now he when of to the military and we dont talk anymore,write or even e-mail eachother. Sometimes i tend to miss those times. Its been already 6 years:( I'v heard that his doing well but i cant get to find his number e-mail or anything. The only thing i know is that is in Maryland! But i hope he never forgets me and knows that he still is in my heart because its rare to find someone like him.
