How much pride is too much pride? When are you overly confident? How much is too much in the ego department?

Now this is another example of overconfidence - but it sure is a funny commercial
THAT is overconfident, the title of your discussion. I wouldn't say that no matter how confident I may feel. No pun intended Kio but merely stating that that is a bit overconfident for ANYbody to say.

That's why I said no pun intended. I knew you weren't talking about yourself. *smile*

I think a person has an ego problem when they fail to respect others and themselves. We have to respect ourselves before we can respect others or others can respect us. Not being able to admit to mistakes shows that a person has too much pride and that their ego is getting waaaaay to big. Admitting mistakes shows that you are able to let go of your pride. Same with asking for help, so all you males, swallow your pride and ask for help in working out how to use the toaster! Sorry, just had to put that in.
