I do not go to the movies and only watch television when I am visiting my best friend. She likes intense movies and I try to bear them with her. If somebody had told me that Denzel Washington had played such a bad guy, I would have sworn they were lying. Every movie I have ever seen him in. he has been a respectable gentleman, but in this movie, I needed for him to die at the end. Even though, I did not see that part. I had to turn my head, it was too much for me. I can understand though I his character, Alfonzo was acting like that. If I owed someone a million dollars in exchange for my life, I don't think I would feel like I had anything to lose either. The way he played that Rookie was wrong. But he had the choice to stay or go and he chose to stay, perhaps out of fear. But he still had to take responsibility for all of the things that he allowed this guy to talk him into doing. I use to belong to the same church as Denzel Washington, so I kind of looked up to him. I do not that I would want to play such a role, being a Christian. People may say that it is just a movie. But he is in a very influential position. I am not judging him. All I am saying is that I have never known a Christian to play such a role. But I will admit, it was a very good movie. What did you think of it?
