What about you ? Do you all feel Monday morning blues?
when it starts, from Sunday evening itself?
I used to feel it more from the start of my career. But now I have started not thinking about it all.
I just think another week will pass as the previous one and its life.
what about you?
how do you cope with it?

I used to feel the Monday blues when I was working outside of the home. Now that I work 7 days a week from my home, the days are all the same to me. I do get the blues from working so much sometimes though, but it is worth it in the long run. My husband also works 7 days a week. We are trying to pay off some of our bills and get ready for his retirement in about 11 more years.

Yes. It is the same sometimes but it is alot easier to deal with when you do not have to deal with other people or leave the house. It is alot better.

I really hate Mondays. I hate when Sundays come because I know that means I have classes starting again and I have to put up with them. I hate going to classes sometimes. I hate how long they are, I hate how long it takes me to get to them and back from them. I just hate them period.

I had the morning blues when i was still working for a school that i really really hated... i was always late on a monday... and felt bad that i had to wake up very early in the morning... leave my baby... and go to work in a place that i don't like... so i quit after 6 months...
Right now... i am not crazy about my job... but at least i don't have to wake up very early in the morning...

Most of the sundays I use to work till 12 noon or 1 p.m. Because it is holiday for academic staff, they use to rush to my business place to get things done. This is the only free time they get. So I do not feel much of difference between the weekdays and sundays and we go out on Sunday evening. Next day morning - Monday - it is business. So I go to business place with the same enthusiasm as I have on other days. Work is worship. Work is money.

I would sometimes feel like that when I was working. And it would start on sunday night I would get sad because I knew I had to get up early and go to work. The best thing is not to think about it if possible.

i usually have the Monday blues as early as Sunday. i get anxious because Sunday is the last day of my rest days and it means i am going to work again on the next day. its like work is already starting on Sunday because i can't sleep late since i have to wake up early the next day and i would have to prepare my things for work. .

I did when I use to work fulltime. After years of working at one place, I use to dread Mondays and couldn't wait for Fridays to roll around. I use to pull a few sick days too LOL not good but hey it helped me get over Mondayitis!

Hi hun, oh God yes, I get the Monday morning blues. I love my job and do not at all resent having to come to work but Monday mornings have always managed to be a right royal pain in the ar$e for me LOL! I start to feel really negative from Sunday evening and no matter what good intentions I have I can never get myself into bed and asleep early enough to wake up totally refreshed from the weekend on a Monday morning. It's just impossible. I think it's a problem all over the world, and I guess the only people who love Mondays are those that don't have to wake up for them, say those who work Tuesday to Saturday for example LOL! My colleagues would have no idea that I'm not a Monday morning person as I'm pretty chirpy by the time I get to the office but the postman (at work) knows, he's clever. He always says to me on Tuesday, "ah you're smiling again, you don't smile too convincingly on Mondays" haha, he's too clever!

Not always, I get the house all for me while hubby works. However my husband is the one with the Monday morning blues, and I know why, because it means back to the work week. I just say, remember time does go by fast, so before you realize, the weekend will be here once again.

if one does not love what he do then one would feel the monday blues but if one does not then mondays is not the only one that he would not like, it is the whole week . love your work and you won't have any problems going to work.

I feel the same only on sunday evening but I get prepared mentally as it is a must.i plan for the things to be done ahead and once it is monday, I forget all the blues and swing to action. However, I feelthe week passes by very fast without my knowledge.

Well not really. In fact I like Mondays. Its probably because I like my work and I look forward to each Monday morning so that I can go to my office. But usually there is this usual tiredness when I go back home after a Monday work. Its different since the whole day of Saturday and Sunday is spend on relaxing, going to the mall with the family or going outdoors. So the body is completely relax. When Monday comes after working, I feel more tired since maybe my body was used to the 2 days of relaxation. The rest of the days, I think my body has adjusted already and I don't feel the tiredness after work on Mondays.
