Many people take their grand vacations during the holy week. Yet, there are some who prefers to feed their spiritual side by praying, hearing masses, and fasting. Which one is the right thing to do?

You should do what you feel lead to do. Sometimes you have to make your own decision, do what you may feel. Because everybody is not in your position. So I would suggest that you try to make the best decision that you feel that is best for you.

sometimes we can not blame other people who take grand vacations during lenten seasons, one:maybe they dont believe, two: it is the only time where you have a holiday so the family grab the chance to have a vacation. three: you can only do that if you can afford. lol. i do the way of the cross at our parish church. and on going ther i just walk so i can pray the holy rosary while walking. i dont think there is right and there is wrong it all depends on what you believe in. welcome to mylot and happy posting

yes that is true, not all people spend holy week just for vacation but to reflect also, most of the people go to the province to spend this whole week of lenten season to their family and other celebrate this lenten by reflection of God's sacrificed.
