You know you can record your won ring tone for your mobile phone these days? Well, I just love that throaty roar that comes from a BIG motorbike so I thought it would be kind of cool to record the sound onto my phone. So, there I am with my phone in my pocket in the bar when it rings. Cool Ducati sound, I think. But everyone else turns round & frowns at me. They think I have a real bad wind problem & have just let loose big time!!! So be warned, don't record Ducati sounds on your mobile unless you want a farting phone!!

lol. I experienced this on the bus too, I forgot what sound it was, but it was something that you certainly wont find on a bus so I was looking around for it until I realised its probably some people's ringtone. Research has shown that to be professional, dont use any other ringtone except one that sounds like a phone ringing. The others will probably spoil your professional image. But yeah in everyday life, you dont really have to care about that so, just let go have some fun :)

I heard a new one on the bus today. Its a wolf whistle, you know, those in shows and movies where the guy whistles at pretty ladies. Amusing. Hope its doesnt cause misunderstanding though, if you are on the bus and you look like you're whistling at others.

My boyfriend set his ring tone to a cockrell crowing, but there are so many real ones around here that he never used to answer his phone! I don't think his professional image is something he's too worried about!!

I had my son shouting 'Mum, the phone, Mum, Mum, answer the phone' on mine for a while, and that always got a few laughs as it sounded like I had a small boy trapped in my handbag :-)

Wow, now that would be worth listening too! We used to have a recording of various cat noises, I think it originally came from the BBC sound library. Well whenever we put it on the cats would go wild which was really funny. What wasn't so funny was that afterwards they would start weeing all over the house marking their territory. I hope you didn't find your phone in a little puddle?!

Go for it Vicky! What better way of getting your music heard? Then you'd have to make sure your friends phoned you allot when you were out to get maximum exposure for your song, and take ages finding your phone to turn it off :-)
